Product Strategy & Design

From a rough idea to a validated, buildable product plan.

Overview

Before any code gets written, a digital product needs a real strategy — who it's for, what problem it solves, and what the smallest version that proves the concept looks like. We work through that with you, then translate it into UX/UI design that a development team can actually build from.

This is the phase that prevents the most expensive mistake in product development: building the wrong thing well.

Business problems solved

A product idea that feels right but hasn't been pressure-tested against real users or a real market. A scope that keeps growing because there's no clear definition of what the first version actually needs to do. Design and development teams working from different, unstated assumptions.

Our approach

We validate the core assumption behind the product before designing anything — talking to real potential users, sizing the actual problem, and defining what a minimum viable version needs to prove. From there, UX flows and UI design are built to be genuinely buildable, not just beautiful in a design file, with development feasibility considered throughout, not discovered after handoff.

Process

  1. 01

    Discovery & validation

Test the core product assumption against real users before designing.

  2. 02

    Define the MVP scope

Decide precisely what the first version needs to do, and what it deliberately doesn't.

  3. 03

    UX flows

Map the user journeys before visual design starts.

  4. 04

    UI design

Design the interface with development feasibility considered throughout.

  5. 05

    Handoff

Deliver a design system and specs a development team can build from directly.

Capabilities

  • User research and assumption validation
  • MVP scope definition to prevent scope creep
  • UX flow mapping and information architecture
  • UI design with a reusable component system
  • Developer-ready handoff (specs, not just mockups)
  • Usability testing before full build commitment
